A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

In this simple endless-runner you can not only move your character but also rotate the pipe you walk on. How far can you go?

Pipe Dream is our first "published" game and was created in two days as part of a private game jam. It is therefore highly unoptimized, in no way balanced and probably full of bugs and untapped potential. There are no options for visual quality, so your framerate might suffer on a low-end machine. Both macOS and Linux builds are untested & experimental but they should work.

Install instructions

Windows:

  1. Download ZIP file and unzip
  2. Double-click PipeDream.exe

macOS:

  1. Download ZIP file and unzip
  2. Right-click on PipeDream.app and select Open
  3. Click on Open again in the dialog window

Steps 2&3 are neccessary because the app isn't signed with an official Apple developer key.

Linux

  1. Download ZIP file and unzip
  2. Open command line and cd to unzipped game folder
  3. Run "./PipeDream.x86_64"
  4. If you get an error run "chmod +x PipeDream.x86_64" and try step 3 again

Step 4 might be neccessary because some Linux distros make downloaded files non-executable by default.
